During the heyday of the British Empire the Brits stole all kinds of things from places all over the world. Anything that looked old and interesting British historians and archaeologists swiped and shipped back to Britain. Some of those things were eventually returned but most of it stayed and is housed in the British Museum. Chances are that even if you get to go to London and visit the British Museum you’ll never have a chance to see everything that it holds. Today I want you to take a quick look at their collections from ancient China.
Follow the link below and explore any of the topics on the left hand menu. Get the three inquiry sheets from me to fill out while you explore the museum collections. These sheets are due at the end of class. Also, don’t forget to jot down anything interesting that you might accidentally find during your search.
